We’re looking for an Account Manager (Sales & Operations) to join our team and own the day-to-day relationship with a set of clients. This role is both operator and consultant. You’ll be responsible for running accounts at a best-in-class level, while also experimenting with new strategies, tools, and processes that push our work forward. The insights you develop in managing accounts directly shape how Bearing defines best practices, and you’ll play an active role in our Solution Consultations by using that expertise to help other brands identify gaps in their current approach and chart a stronger path forward.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on sales and operations needs across Amazon and other retail ecommerce channels.
  • Monitor account health (in-stock %, catalog health, listing accuracy) investigate root causes and drive issue resolution.
  • Partner with Brand marketing teams and retail media managers to ensure advertising and sales/ops strategies work in lockstep.
  • Prepare and present clear, actionable reporting to client stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities, offering solutions that go beyond “what happened” to “what to do next.”
  • Build trusted relationships where clients see you as an extension of their team.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as the primary owner of Amazon accounts — whether at an agency, within a brand, or at Amazon itself — with responsibility for both strategy ownership and hands-on execution across retail sales and operations.
  • Broad Expertise in Amazon Vendor Central or Seller Central: from forecasting to supply chain to catalog management to growth strategies.
  • A partnership mindset with a focus on collaboration, and genuine care for client personal and professional success.
  • Excellent communicator who can translate data and acronyms into clear decisions for clients.
  • Operates with personal accountability and ownership, ensuring progress even when playbooks don’t exist.
